I became interested in natural history and gardening from a very early age after receiving a gift of the Observer's book of Birds from an aunt. Watching early black and white wildlife TV documentaries featuring Peter Scott and David Attenborough sparked a lifelong interest.

This interest led to completion of a degree in Botany and Zoology from King's College London and a Certificate in Education, also from London University.

As a fully qualified teacher I have had a long career teaching Biology, Botany and Zoology to both young people and adults in Further Education. Now retired, I recently completed a Diploma in Garden Design at Capel Manor College.

The variety of specialist services that I offer reflect my expertise and experience. Meeting clients' expectations and exceeding them if possible is my core value.

I am a member of the RHS, RSPB, the local Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation.
